Meet Dr. Manisha Sisodia
(Orthodontist)
Dr. Manisha Sisodia is an accomplished, respected and highly qualified orthodontist utilizing the very latest techniques in orthodontic treatment. She received her Bachelors in Physiological Sciences degree as well as Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA. At graduation from Dental school, she received the Outstanding Graduate Student award from the Chancellor of UCLA. In addition, she has received numerous honors for her research both in Physiology as well as Dentistry, including first place at the California Dental Association Research Poster Presentation, Harvard Abstract Competition winner and scholarship from the California Dental Association for outstanding academics and leadership. She has several publications in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research nationally.
After completing dental school at UCLA, she completed a one year Fellowship in Craniofacial Orthodontics at University of Illinois at Chicago in the Craniofacial Department. After the fellowship, she completed additional three year residency in Orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. She is an Invisalign Provider and a certified Incognito provider (Lingual Braces that are on the inside of the teeth). She strongly believes that Orthodontics goes beyond just straightening teeth, her goal is to provide excellent, cutting edge orthodontic care in a warm and friendly environment to deliver personalized care to patients of all ages.
Apart from her professional life, she enjoys nature, exploring outdoors, meditating, running, hiking, everything which is good for the mind, body and soul. She is also a twelve-time LA Marathon finisher and has participated in various other half-marathons across the country. She enjoys traveling and loves learning about new cultures. She speaks several other languages that include Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish.
